PCI Student Council Kicks off Drive to Benefit
Dallas / Fort Worth Area Cancer Patients
The PCI Student Council is in need of
hats! Yes, Hats! All types of new or gently worn caps and hats are being
collected to donate to DFW area cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
The Student Council plans to gather a large collection to be dispersed to
area medical facilities such as Baylor Irving Cancer Center.
You can drop off your donated head coverings to any Student Council member
or bring them to Buck in Student Services. This will be an ongoing project
and a good opportunity for all students to make a difference in their community.
The Student Council is also collecting personal care item donations for
various area women’s shelters such as the Genesis Women’s Shelter.
We are very proud of our students and staff involvement in aiding the communities
around DFW. PCI trains people for patient care and this care goes even farther
– community care.
